Description:
Early in life I was a dancer and performer, I was introduced to plays and performance early on and voted in high school to be the one to jump through rings of fire! witty, educated and a serious PhD student working on a dissertation in Native American higher education student persistence. I am an international artist for which at a very young age my art work traveled the states and was awarded. I am by nature a nonfictional serious writer and believe creatively through descriptive visual depictions of Native life, we can teach others about our people. I am an Gnoozhekaaning Anishinabeg and have a uncle who was the great grandson of Sitting Bull and born at Wakpala. I am a horse back rider and rode in the Big Foot Ride and encourage others to involve themselves and remember the ansestors.
